Latinas are one of the fastest growing, most powerful groups in the United States. Latinas excel in every sector and industry in our country. Despite all of this, on this day, we will highlight the fact that the in 2023, Latinas continued to face the pay gap that is, on average, an abysmal 51 cents to every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. This number includes all Latinas with reported earnings, like part-time, seasonal, and migrant workers. For full-time, year-round workers, the wage gap is 58 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. The wage disparity is a clear reflection of the economic hurdles Latinas continue to encounter.

Join advocates, lawmakers, and community members from across the country on Oct 3, 2024 for a National Social Media Storm at 12pm ET, co-hosted by Equal Pay Today, Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) and Justice for Migrant Women and joined by partners nationwide. We will be uniting to address glaring injustice in the workforce impacting Latina workers. #LatinaEqualPay #trabajadoras
