A scan of the field: Learning about serving survivors of human trafficking

Policy makers, researchers, funders and social service organizations across many sectors have given increasing attention to the issue of human trafficking. Many organizations that work at the intersections of human trafficking and other forms of violence such as domestic violence and sexual assault have worked to combat the issue of human trafficking for decades. However, little information is available about the kinds of services offered at the intersections of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking. Esperanza United (formerly Casa de Esperanza: National Latin@ Network) conducted the study, A Scan of the Field: Learning About Serving Survivors of Human Trafficking, to fill the gap in understanding service provision at the intersections of human trafficking and domestic and sexual violence.
