Isabella Benjamin-Quintana addresses systemic sexual violence against unauthorized Latin@ migrant women at the U.S.-Mexico border. Her project, mentored by Dr. Nathalia Hernández Ochoa, utilizes a community-centered zine to highlight the barriers survivors face and the critical role of informal support networks. Isabella’s research raises awareness and advocates for policy changes to enhance safety and resources for these women.
