This webinar aims to provide valuable guidance in responding to vicarious trauma as victim service providers who support Latin@ survivors of gender-based violence. We will explore what vicarious trauma is and related terms including vicarious resilience. Attendees will gain insight in how to address these experiences personally and learn how institutions can shape environments to not only respond but be preventative.

Intergenerational conversations on sex and sexuality with Jessica Moreno and Paris Juarez
Join us tomorrow for a conversation on intergenerational discussions on sex and sexuality with Jessica Moreno of Collective Capacity Consulting, and Paris Juarez, a student activist. Moreno and Juarez will share strategies for having meaningful intergenerational conversations about sex and sexuality with Latinx youth. The session will include both youth and adult perspectives.

As part of our July training series, join us and Elizabeth Barcarcel, a community activist and legal assistant, on creating a security plan for undocumented Latin@ survivors of gender-based violence. In this session, Barcarcel will discuss the what, why, and how advocates can assist their undocumented clients in creating a proactive security plan that suits their needs as immigrants.
