This section of the toolkit explores strategies to enhance <\/span><b>how you provide access<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (interpretation and translation) to the languages spoken by survivors in your area.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note: <\/span><b>interpretation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>translation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> should not be used interchangeably.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interpretation involves conveying information orally from one language to another (e.g., interpreting during an interview)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Translation involves conveying information in writing from one language to another (e.g., translating documents)<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is not a comprehensive list, and we will continue to add strategies in the future as we identify them and learn of promising applications.
