Dear OVW Grantees,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

We are pleased to announce that ASISTA, Esperanza United, the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence (API-GBV), and Ujima, The National Center on Violence Against Women in the Black Community, have come together as a <\/span>Culturally Specific Resource Consortium (CSRC). The CSRC is a training and technical assistance (TTA) resource hub that will enhance the current OVW TTA system <\/span>f<\/span><\/b>or culturally specific community-based organizations (CSCBOs)<\/span>.\u00a0<\/p>

As a result of the project, OVW grantees that are CSCBOs will have greater capacity to provide culturally responsive services for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking (DVSAS). Per OVW, \u201cculturally specific\u201d refers to organizations whose primary purpose is to provide services tailored to the needs of one or more of the following communities: American Indians (including Alaska Natives, Eskimos, and Aleuts), Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders, Black or African Americans, or Hispanics.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
