During Women\u2019s History Month, we are highlighting the incredible women across Esperanza United whose leadership, dedication, and work help strengthen our communities every day.<\/p>

This week, we are proud to spotlight Kate Brune<\/strong><\/a>, Advancement Manager, whose work centers on building meaningful relationships with donors and strengthening the connection between community support and lasting impact.<\/p>

In her role, Kate leads efforts to engage donors and ensure they feel connected to the mission of Esperanza United. Through thoughtful communication and relationship-building, her work helps sustain the resources that make it possible to support survivors, uplift Latin@ communities, and continue advancing change.<\/p>

For Kate, this work is deeply personal and rooted in both her family history and her broader perspective on women\u2019s roles in the world.<\/p>

\u201cI personally come from a strong family line of women committed to uplifting other women. I work at an organization that considers gender identity as integral to the success of its mission. Both of these statements bring me joy and fulfillment every day.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Her reflection also extends beyond her own experience to a wider understanding of women\u2019s impact globally.<\/p>

\u201cI can\u2019t help but think about the broader story of women in today\u2019s world. We number over 4 billion, and our varied experiences reflect that diversity. Women also hold responsibility for enforcing many of the social norms and expectations that can divide and marginalize us. We all need to do better honoring women\u2019s history, and as half of the world\u2019s population, we must also take responsibility in moving this work forward.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

For Kate, Women\u2019s History Month is both a celebration and a call to action, a reminder of the power women hold, not only to uplift one another, but to challenge systems and create a more equitable future.<\/p>

At Esperanza United, this vision comes to life every day through the collective work of staff, community, and supporters, ensuring that survivors are not alone and that hope continues to grow.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
