This guide was created to support advocates and organizations working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence by clearly outlining the federal laws that protect survivors\u2019 access to services.<\/p><p data-start=\"554\" data-end=\"1057\">The bolet\u00edn brings together key statutes, including the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA), the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. These laws establish requirements around confidentiality, non-discrimination, and access to services, regardless of immigration status, while also reinforcing the responsibility of organizations to provide meaningful and equitable support.<\/p><p data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1440\">This resource is designed for advocates, service providers, and organizations who support survivors every day and need clear, accessible information to guide their work and ensure compliance with federal funding requirements.
