Our in-depth two-day Capacity Building Training series is available to those who have attended our two-hour Core Training. This is a deep dive into understanding LGBTQ+ survivors that covers in-depth knowledge about the unique issues and barriers that LGBTQ+ survivors face and best practices for supporting them. This training covers:

  • Creating Agency-Wide Change

  • Navigating Language, Data, and Intakes

  • Supporting LGBTQ Survivors in Navigating their Sexual Health

  • Being/Coming Out and “Outing”

  • Criminal Legal Issues Specific to the LGBTQ Community

  • Mental Health Issues and Outcomes Specific to the LGBTQ Community

  • Centering the Margins

This training takes place on March 19th and 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PST.
