The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) is the leading national organization for Latino(a) workers and their families. LCLAA was born in 1972 out of the need to educate, organize and mobilize Latinos in the labor movement and has expanded its influence to organize Latinos in an effort to impact workers’ rights and their influence in the political process. LCLAA represents the interest of more than 2 million Latino workers in the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), The Change to Win Federation, Independent Unions and all its membership.

El Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (Consejo Laboral para el Avance de América Latina, LCLAA, por sus siglas en inglés) es la organización nacional líder para trabajadores latinos (a) y sus familias. LCLAA nació en 1972 de la necesidad de educar, organizar y movilizar a los latinos en el movimiento laboral y ha expandido su influencia para organizar a los latinos en un esfuerzo por impactar los derechos de los trabajadores y su influencia en el proceso político. LCLAA representa el interés de más de 2 millones de trabajadores latinos en la Federación Estadounidense de Trabajo-Congreso de Organizaciones Industriales (AFL-CIO, por sus siglas en ingles), la Federación Change to Win (Cambio para Ganar), Sindicatos Independientes y todos sus miembros.

The mission of Líderes Campesinas is to strengthen the leadership of farmworker women and girls so that they can be agents of economic, social and political change and ensure their human rights.
