The number of young people that identify as a sexual minority continues to grow in the United States. This factsheet highlights research with Latin@ sexual minority youth published between 2013-2023, with attention to trends and protective factors. Sexual minority is used in this factsheet to include lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer but is not all encompassing of the LGTBQ+ community. Different sexual minority acronyms are used throughout the factsheet to reflect the research.
